It is my great honor to be appointed as the president of the Asian Society of Gynecologic Oncology (ASGO). I would like to personally thank all of you for your commitment to support the ASGO's primary goal of improving the health of women affected by gynecologic malignancies.
ASGO was initially founded in 2009 by a small group of gynecologic oncologists from Japan and Korea, but as more and more Asian countries came together, membership has gradually increased. Given the total population and number of patients in the Asian region, it is easy to recognize the unlimited potential of the ASGO. We are actively involved in the development of guidelines and clinical trials. We will continue to contribute to the better development of the ASGO with the goal of financial sustainability and transparency.
We are delighted to announce that our ASGO upcoming official ASGO meetings as follows.

2) the ASGO 2025 Annual Meeting in Tokyo/Japan during July17-19, 2025.
After the COVID-19 pandemic, the ASGO meeting format will be mixed and flexible, encompassing the characteristics of face-to-face meetings but also taking advantage of virtual participation.
We look forward to meeting you all at the upcoming meeting and discussing our future.
